Dr. Adnan Rafiq received his medical degree from St. George’s University Medical School in Grenada, West Indies, and completed his residency training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in New Brunswick, New Jersey, where he served as chief resident. Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Rafiq has practiced medicine in Houston since 2009. He was named Physician of the Year by Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital in 2012. Fluent in Urdu and Hindi, Dr. Rafiq sees patients 18 years and older. His special clinical interests include coronary artery disease and diabetes. Dr. Rafiq believes in the importance of listening to his patients and being available to them. He strives to care for his patients as if they were family members. Dr. Rafiq enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, travelling and sports activities.
